B.B. & The Blues Shacks is a German blues band, founded by the brothers Andreas and Michael Arlt 1989 in Hildesheim. The live performances of the band are particularly impressive, with virtuoso musicians in a sparkling show. The authenticity of the music is accentuated by the use of vintage instruments and sparse equipment. Songs by old masters like Sonny Boy Williamson and T-Bone Walker as well as a good number of own compositions belong in their repertoire.

At the German Blues Award 2011 they received the awards for "Best Band" and "Best Album" for the CD "London Days".

In its curent incarnation the band features Michael "Maddy" Arlt (vocals and harmonica), Andreas "Ali" Arlt (guitar), Henning Hauerken (double and electric bass), Dennis Koeckstedt (piano and organ) and Bernhard Egger (drums).
