The young British guitarist and singer Dominik Clayton, born 1984, has settled down almost in our neighbourhood – in Cologne. He has been playing the blues since he was 15, with energy and attitude. You could find him back then roaming the blues joints in his adopted domicile, perfecting his guitar skills. At seventeen he left school to fully concentrate on his career as a musician.
A year later he had established himself as an adept guitarist and singer in the local blues scene.
His rhythm section, with Gerd Harder on bass and Marcel Mader on drums, competently supports the now 21 year old Clayton, giving the rhythm & blues its drive and the emotional guitar solos a solid backing.
