The Bluesanovas
The young band has been founded in 2015 in Muenster, Germany. Nowadays organ and piano player Nico Dreier is living in Osnabrueck. During the last years the band has been known by insiders of the German blues scene only.Taking part in Bluesfest Hildesheim and Blue Wave Festival on the isle of Ruegen, Germany, gave the band a wider range of popularity.
Taking them by word they are playing „21st Century Blues“ consisting of Texas Blues, swinging Jump and Westcoast Blues in a modern context. Nico Dreier sets accents as a virtuoso soloist on piano and organ. Following him is guitarist Filipe Henrique de la Torre (from Portugese origin). Philipp Dreier, twin brother of Nico, on drums and Nicolas Karolewicz are contributing a solid rhythm section. Last but not least singer Melvin Schulz is standing his ground in front of the stage. The Bluesanovas had been issued two CDs so far: „Bluesanovas“ (2018) and „Emergency Call For The Blues“ (2019).

Stacie Collins & Band
Stacie Collins calls her style of playing „Southern rockin', harp howlin', twang bangin' rock 'n' roll“. Stacie Collins is from Nashville Tennessee and plays Blues, Rock & Roll and Country and put it into an explosive mix of Southern Roots Rock. Her stage show is energetic and breathtaking. Augmented by the Al-Mighty Three Band, where husband Al Collins is playing bass and contributes song writing with Stacie, the band's playing is highly entertaining for audiences. During her career she has developed an enormous quality as a „shouter“ and has perfected her harp playing. Stacie will play through songs of her five albums. Only some slow ballads and several rhythm & blues songs will soften the quick array of the country rock repertoire. Something similar has never been seen during 25 years of Blueslawine.

Layla Zoe
Blues lovers who had visited the concert in „Lutherhaus“ in Osnabrueck in 2018 are already well known with singer Layla Zoe from British Columbia, Canada. Layla, born in the nineteen seventies, and her German guitarist Jan Laacks had delivered a mostly acoustic concert back then. For next Blueslawine (no. 26) she is bringing a fresh new band to Osnabrueck. In Canada her musical career started around the year 2000. Her Canadian debut album was issued in 2005.
First known in Germany (she's living here since 2013) was her successful collaboration with the well known German guitarist Henrik Freischlader ending with some studio works and a double live album. More impressions recorded live on CD and DVD you could find on „Songs From The Road“ and „Blues Caravan“ by the German blues label „Ruf Records“. Layla is presenting her own material and some songs from other composers. She's performing in the old fashioned way offering a deep smoke-and-whiskey vocal often compared with the voice of Janis Joplin.
